Meridian Media Group Limited is the UK-headquartered parent of a portfolio spanning streaming, journalism and media technology. The Group is developing a governance structure designed to support disciplined growth, accountable leadership and international expansion while preserving the distinct legal and operating responsibilities of each business.
01Governance
The Board of Meridian Media Group Limited is responsible for the long-term stewardship of the Group, including strategy, capital allocation, governance, risk, executive accountability and oversight of its operating companies.
Founder & Executive Chairman
Anthony “Tony” Dara is Founder & Executive Chairman of Meridian Media Group. His career spans broadcast engineering, television, journalism, media entrepreneurship and technology across Africa and the United Kingdom. He leads Meridian’s strategy, governance and institutional development.
Additional Board appointments will be published following formal appointment and confirmation of professional profiles and photography.
02Board composition
Meridian intends to complement its principal Board leadership with selected Non-Executive Directors drawn from the boards and ownership structures of its operating companies. The proposed model is intended to bring direct commercial, financial, editorial, technology and shareholder perspective from across the Group into Meridian’s governance.
Planned appointments
Appointments will be published as individual directors are formally confirmed and their professional profiles and photography are approved.
On appointment to Meridian Media Group Limited, each Director serves Meridian as a whole and exercises the duties and independent judgement applicable to that office.

04International Growth
A globally scalable structure
Meridian is being developed as a UK-founded international media and technology group. As operations expand, the Group may establish regional holding and operating structures in priority markets, including the United States, selected African markets, the Caribbean and other priority territories, applying the same principles of clear ownership, local accountability and Group-level governance.
International corporate structures will be announced only when formally established.
